Well, I have realized that my entries to my blog have been far and few in between, but that just means I am taking lots of extra time caring for my clients and my kiddos! But, I just had to share our feature wedding in Cincinnati Weddings right now as the main feature. It was simply stunning, and something I have to admit was out of my box, but I loved every minute of it!! Thank you Erica for having such a great vision and sticking with it, and allowing me to help you pull it all together! I truly enjoyed being out of my box!!!!!! We are happy to announce that we have been selected as a 2011 Bride’s Choice Award winner!! This means we are in the top 5% of the nations vendors! We couldn’t be more proud and have loved all our brides and thank you all for your continued support even after your own wedding day has passed!

Well, what can I even say about this wedding!!!! First I have to say Thank you to Erica and Cody along with Erica’s parents, Jennifer and Ken, for allowing us to take part in such an amazing wedding!!! I had soooo much fun working with this client! She had such a vision, and it was a true joy to help her bring it to life! The Hall of Mirrors, in the Hilton Netherland Plaza, was the perfect backdrop for the beautiful lighting by Goodwin, and the AMAZING flowers by Katie Elfers, Inspired Floral Design. The “Same Day Edit” created by Steve Zugelter with Studio Z Films was just a spectacular surprise to all the guests as they watched a short film edited from the wedding day. What a great couple this was to work with!! Love you guys!!! The guests LOVED the Same Day Edit which was shown at the reception as guests were wrapping up with dinner. Thanks to Studio Z Films for this wonderful movie. The bride and groom just loved it!! If you want to make an impact on your guests, I think this is something they will be talking about!

As a wedding planner it doesn’t get much better than this…

My wedding yesterday had a groomsmen get very ill the night after the rehearsal so he called the groom in the morning and told him that he couldn’t be in the wedding, but he said don’t worry, I will have my twin step in for me!!  Nobody was the wiser, tux fit perfectly of course as well!!!  Gotta love having a twin at times like these.  I wish I could have a backup for every wedding, just in case!  ;-)

I just had to share this movie short of a wedding we did back in Aug.  The threat of rain loomed over us and fell on us, but the Lord smiled on us the rest of the evening.  Lifetime Films did a wonderful job on capturing the day and what a great job editing the film!!!  ENJOY!!  The ceremony and reception were both at Alms Park, one of my favorites!!

September was so busy, but so amazing!  This was another amazing wedding at one of my favorite places, Greenacres!  What a great staff and what a beautiful, unique location.  Thank you to Laura Leppert for the beautiful photos!!!  We have so many great weddings to share from this past season.  Now that it has slowed down, I look forward to getting more photos and information posted for you all!  ENJOY!!!  I know we sure did.

And, check out this chandelier from Camargo!!  It was HUGE and was one of the first times it was ever used.  So glad they chose it.  Just set their decor apart!

It is always nice to have a couple relaxing places for your guests!

Hello and thank you for visiting our blog!  WOW, where has the mid summer gone???  We were hustling and bustling in the early summer and had a little break… so, did some vacationing with my amazing husband and two beautiful daughters, and getting back into the swing of things for our very busy fall!   

If you didn’t catch it, you can find us in two articles of Cincinnati Wedding Magazine this summer, along with a wonderful spread for a feature wedding that took place at Greenacres in Indian Hill.  You can see more about it on this blog entry The first of many wedding photos to come!!!  

I have to say, one of my favorite wedding locations coming up this fall is at a place called the Richwood Plantation  check it out for a sneak peak.  I am so excited, and I just adore the family/couple that we are working with!  She is really going for a shabby chic look, and believe it or not, I haven’t had a chance to do too many of those, so it should be really fun!  I love the variety that our work allows us to dabble in.  Being a wedding planner is a lot of hard work, but the end result is so rewarding!!  I hope to have some pictures from our early summer weddings, so stay tuned.
